Triveni Sangam Education Trust, Mudpar, Nardha, Chhattisgarh (India)

To fulfil the dream of a retired headmaster to build a school in his village, this project started 14 years ago. To replace a dusty, hot open air school, a piece of land was bought and the first part of the school with 4 rooms with basic facilities of toilets and drinking water was completed in 2007. Since then each year additional rooms and extra facilities are added as per availability of funds.

As per Didi Ji’s suggestion Children’s Paradise School and Triveni Sangam Higher Secondary School are now under one umbrella in the name of Triveni Sangam Education Trust, which was registered in 2014.  All future developments, for example, a University (Maha Vidyalaya), will also come under the same umbrella.

  • Built a school for 150 poor children.
  • Bought a school bus to transport children from nearby villages.
  • Secondary Higher School up to 12th Standard.
  • Negotiations going on to obtain permission to have a University.
